abstract (from publication):
During two expeditions in 1968 and 1972 the Brazilian research vessel Besnard collected fish specimens in the Exclusive Economic Zone of Uruguay which have been deposited in the fish collection of the Zoological Museum of the University of Sao Paulo. A list of fishes obtained during these cruises in Uruguayan waters is presented herein and, after comparison with the last list of marine fishes from Uruguay, contains two first records and over 30 evidence-based confirmations for this country.
