first records from Argentina:
Hypostomus boulengeri (Eigenmann & Kennedy, 1903)

remarks:
Weber (2003) lists Hypostomus boulengeri as from Argentina without providing locality details. López, Miquelarena & Ponte Gómez (2005) confirm this species for the ‘Alto Paraná’ in the provinces of Misiones and Corrientes. The ‘Alto Paraná’ within Argentina is defined by the authors as the part of the río Paraná between the rios Iguazú and Paraguay. A yet unpublished record from Corza-Cué in Corrientes confirms this distribution area (MHNG 2582.053).
